#07: Canine Points on the Bladder (BL) Channel

The BL channel is the longest acupuncture pathway of all 14 channels. BL points are likely the most commonly used of any channel, aside from, perhaps, ST 36. Points along the spine comprise a unique group and heavily influence spinal nerves and significant myofascial structures on the neck and back. Points on the head impact the face and brain, while points on the pelvic limb affect neural and myofascial function as well as stability of the stifle and hip.  Various BL points in paraspinal locations serve also as Back Shu points, potentially reflecting dysfunctional states of internal organs through viscerosomatic reflexes.
