Equine Acupuncture: Locating "Big Points" on the Live Horse

Welcome to equine point locations and topographical anatomy.  In this module, you'll learn the locations of "big" points for equine acupuncture.  Our goal is to present the fundamentals of acupuncture from a clear, anatomically grounded, medically informed standpoint rather than relying on metaphors and metaphysics. Through that science-based lens, we recognize that  each location represents a living interface with the nervous system, fascia, vasculature, musculature, and lymphatics. Each episode in this full series explores how point selection and stimulation can impact local tissues, initiate local and long-loop reflexes, restore autonomic homeostasis, reduce, enhance mobility, and promote overall improvement in quality of life.
